An unforgettable African experience for wildlife and outdoor enthusiasts. Explore some of East Africa's
most prolific game parks and unique wilderness areas, and endure a strenuous mountain trek in search of the elusive mountain gorilla. The reward is immeasurable, as we get the chance to observe these primates in their natural environment. Travelling can be difficult, with long drives and poor road conditions at times.
However, the diversity and sheer splendour of the African landscape, culture and wildlife ensure the
experience is worthwhile.

Tour departs Nairobi on Day 1 at 08:30 am.
Tour ends in Nairobi on Day 11 in the afternoon.
ITINERARY
Day 1:
Nairobi -Samburu National Reserve -260kms
You will be given the tour pre-departure meeting at the Airport thereafter you continue descending thereafter you will be drive north past the equator to the northern frontier district.
Continue to the semi arid Samburu National reserve and check in to your campsite.
12.30pm Lunch at the camp. There will be time to settle in before your safari adventure.
4.00pm Set out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to the lodge before dark.
7.30pm Dinner in the campsite.
Overnight: Samburu campsite - LDB
"Samburu National Reserve is situated about 350 kms north of Nairobi in
the semi arid part of Kenya. Ewaso Nyiro River, the only water source in
the dry season, bisects the reserve and apart from providing water to
life, the river is home to some of the biggest Reptiles in the region and
attracts a good number of birds. Some 300 different species have already
been recorded.
An unusual forked palm, the doum palm, grows along the banks of this river
and adds striking beauty to the panorama. Wildlife is surprisingly
abundant for such a dry place and includes species such as Gerenuk,
Dik-dik, Grant's and Thomson's gazelles, Elephant, Cheetah, Leopard and
Lion. There are several species, which are unique to this area including;
Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali Ostrich and reticulated Giraffe!"
Day 2
Samburu
6.00am - Wake up call.
6.30am - Set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve. This is
usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours
temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the
game and the viewer. Lion, Cheetah and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in
search for their next meal, it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a
small one like the warthog.whatever the players, the spectacle of nature
unfolding is always awe inspiring!
8.30am - Back at the campsite, enjoy your sumptuous breakfast.
12.30pm - Lunch in the camp then its time at leisure to relax by the
swimming pool.
4.00pm - A fternoon game drive. Return to the campsite before dark.
7.30pm - Dinner in the camp.
Overnight: Samburu campsite - LDB
Day 3
Samburu - Lake Nakuru (255km)
7.30am After early breakfast depart for a morning game drive in the
reserve, en-route to the gate. Drive a southerly direction to the equator
for a brief stop. Here, the locals do a water demonstration to qualify the
position of the equator and for a small tip you could be awarded an
'equator Certificate'
After the brief stop, Drive to the Nyahururu falls for a photo-stop
then down into the great rift valley. As you ascend the eastern wall of
the rift Valley, lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves and
your driver-guides will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in
Kenya.
11.30pm -You will be driven to lake nakuru for your lunch
1400hrs - you will leave the campsite in nakuru for the game drive in the park,in search for the big five animals i.e lions,rhinos,leopardand cheetah and more other animals.

akuru is famous for its millions of flamigoes and immigrate birds from over the world, in Nakuru we have upto 425 different species of birds.
You will leave back to the CAMPSITE before dark for your dinner and overnight.
7.30pm - Dinner in the campsite.

Day 4 and 5 Lake Nakur - Kampala (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we will transfer to the Malaba border ,then drive we will transfer to the capital city of Kampala, and spend some time strolling around the craft markets and getting to know the locals.Overnight at redchill cottages
Day 6 & 7: Kampala - Kabale - Lake Bunyonyi (B,L,D)
After morning breakfast you will drive down to Kabale Uganda's highest town (2000 m), with beautiful,
Lush scenery along the way. We will camp at Lake Bunyonyi, Africa's deepest crater lake (900 m). Bunyonyi means "place of little birds", so you can expect to view interesting and unique birdlife. This is an excellent resting point before the gorilla trek. In the evening, we will have the option of canoeing on the lake.
NOTE: you will be free to visit orphanage children in the area village
Day 8: Gorilla Trek (B,L,D)
Enjoy a beautiful drive over the mountains, as we transfer to our base in Kisoro, on the southwestern tip of
Uganda. Enjoy a relaxing evening as we prepare for the trek ahead.
Today we embark on the experience of a lifetime. Trek through the early morning mist in the Impenetrable
Forest, home to roughly half of the world's remaining 700 mountain gorillas. The trekking can be demanding and the day long - a water bottle and good walking shoes or boots are highly recommended. Experienced local guides will lead us through the thick mountain jungle. Once we locate the gorillas, we will stay and observe them for about an hour - this time is strictly governed by the Uganda Wildlife Authority. Photography is permitted (although not the use of flash, and there are restrictions the use of video cameras), but with or without a camera, this is one of the most breathtaking and emotional experiences Africa can offer, and certainly one that will remain with you long after your journey. Day 9: Lake Bunyoni To Kampala (B,LD)
Today we transfer back to Kampala, arriving just in time to enjoy some of the nightlife this city has to offer.
Day 10.Kampala - lake Naivasha
On the morning of Day 9 we continue back to Lake Naivasha -green crater lake.
Thereafter you will be driven to the great rift valley whereby you will be given time to stop for the good photo taking of the great rift valley view point. You will arrive in lake Naivasha fisherman's campsite. you will settle down waiting for your lunch, thereafter you will be driven to the green crater lake which was formed due to volcanic activities .the colour is naturally green due to volcanic chemicals i. sodium and sulphur forming sodium sulphate,Otherwise we have also a lot of flamigoes to see when getting the breeze watching the bird and flamigoes moving along the lake side.
Afterwards you will be taken to the park accompanied by the guide to walk between the wild animals like Girraffe,zebra,impalas,the biggest antelope eland, irk dirkand many other animals. These the only park you will get time to walk as close as 5-4metres between the will animals, Otherwise we don't have big cat and the park is secured by the range. Overnight at Carnary CAMP 395kms
Day 11: Lake Naivasha
Today you will be free to wonder around the lake side ,watching hippos
Day 12 Depart Nairobi
Transfer back to Nairobi for your flight home. Tour ends in the afternoon.
Please note: While it is our intention to adhere to the route described above, there is a certain amount of
flexibility built into the itinerary and on occasion it may be necessary, or desirable to make alterations. On
Day 1 of your tour you will be advised of any amendments.

Accommodation: 1 nights in safe, comfortable yet simple campsites; 8 nights in hotels.
Transportation: Minivans with pop-up roofs for optimum game viewing and photo opportunities. Cool boxes on board the vehicles. All vehicles equipped with communication radios, first aid kits and fire extinguishers.

Optional activity prices are subject to change and can fluctuate in relation to the high/low season and the
Number of people on a specific excursion. Not all excursions listed here may be available, due to season, or
weather conditions. As generally not a lot of time is spent in start/end cities, you may want to arrange to
arrive early, or stay longer after the trip in order to allow sufficient time to participate in optional activities
there.
