22 Days: Kenya - Tanzania Special Safari - Maasai Mara/Nakuru/Samburu/Mt. Kenya/Amboseli/Tarangire/Serengeti/Ngorongoro/Tsavo/Mombasa
Day 1: Nairobi
Pick up from the airport then transfer to Nairobi hotel.
Day 2 : Nairobi/Maasai Mara
Pick up from the hotel and drive to Maasai Mara with lunch on route checking in at the lodge. Evening game drive in this game reserve returning to the lodge for meals and overnight stay.
Day 3: Maasai Mara
Full day game drive in search of the BIG five and other plains game. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 4: Mara/L.Nakuru
A pre-breakfast game drive then breakfast before departing for Lake Nakuru with lunch on route, viewing scenery on the way, arriving at Nakuru late in the afternoon. Evening game drive in the Park which is also a rhino sanctuary. Overnight in a lodge.
Day 5: Nakuru/Samburu
Early morning game drive before leaving for Samburu, lunch on route arriving at Samburu in time for evening game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge.
Day 6: Samburu
Full day game viewing in this reserve. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 7: Samburu/Mt Kenya
Morning game drive, then drive to Nanyuki which is the base town of Mount Kenya . You will have your lunch en route, reaching Nanyuki in the afternoon when you can visit the Mau Mau caves. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 8: Mt Kenya/Amboseli
After breakfast leave for Amboseli via Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon. Evening game drive, all meals and accommodation at the lodge.
Day 9: Amboseli
Full day game viewing in this park which is at the foot of Kilimanjaro where you have a chance of viewing lion, cheetah, rhino and other numerous species of plain's game. Overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 10: Amboseli/Tarangire
After breakfast proceed to Arusha crossing the border at Namanga, proceed onto Tarangire National Park, famous for its huge elephants, lions, cheetah and leopards. Overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 11: Tarangire/Ngorongoro/Serengeti
After breakfast then drive through Ngorongoro conservation area to the vast Serengeti National Park stopping at Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon leave for a game drive where large herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles roam the plains. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 12: Serengeti
Full day game viewing in the park with breaks for meals. All meals and accommodation at the lodge.
Day 13: Serengeti/Ngorongoro
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. Afternoon drive to the crater for a short game viewing returning to the lodge for meals and overnight stay.
Day 14: Ngorongoro
Drive to Ngorongoro crater with a picnic lunch. Descend to the crater for a full day game viewing. In the evening ascend going back to the lodge for overnight stay.
Day 15: Ngorongoro/Tsavo
Leave Ngorongoro to Moshi for lunch. After lunch, drive across Taveta border to Tsavo National Park game en-route, arriving at the lodge late in the evening for your overnight stay.
Day 16: Tsavo
After breakfast, morning game drive, which takes you to the famous Mzima Springs, Shetani and Chaimu lava. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive takes you to visit the rhino sanctuary. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 17: Tsavo/Mombasa
After breakfast, drive to Mombasa arriving in time for lunch at your beach hotel.
Day 18-21: Mombasa
Days at leisure.
Day 22: Nairobi
Catch your flight back to Nairobi .
